A couple weeks ago I took these family pictures. The day had been nice enough. Until about half an hour before the shoot. The wind picked up, it was hazy from all the dust in the air, and the wind kept getting worse and worse as the afternoon went on. On top of that, Baby E was refusing to look at me, and when she did, she would not smile. Her parents were trying all the usual tricks to get her to laugh. But to no avail.

Despite the horrific wind and the less-than-thrilled-to-have pictures-taken little girl, the shoot went well, and I was able to get some good shots. Here’s a sampling:
