My husband, Jake, is a musician. A mighty fine musician, I might add. He’s graduating this coming spring with his Bachelor’s degree and will be looking for a job soon. And since he’s a musician, recording engineer, sound designer, and some other stuff I don’t get, he’s setting up a website as an electronic resume. He has asked me (me!) to take some pictures for it. So today I followed him to the campus studio to get some “action shots” of him working his magic.

Because of the low lighting, I used my 50mm lens that I don’t use nearly enough. And after today’s shoot, I am convinced this should be my primary lens (for portrait photography, anyway). I am beyond pleased with how they turned out.
