Owen and his parents are back again! I adore this family. I love the casual, laid-back style of just kind of following them around with a camera. I occasionally force them into posing for a couple shots (haha), but for the most part, they do their thing, and I take pictures of it. I love that. And it really helps that they are just some fantastic people.

We met up at the zoo (one of their favorite spots to go with Owen), and it was wonderful! I’d never been to the Woodland Park Zoo, but it is amazing! I’m usually kind of  “meh” about zoos, but this one is fantastic! This particular morning was gorgeous, too. It’s the kind of day I dream of for photographing people. The sun was out, but low in the sky (I always forget how much I love shooting on sunny, winter days here!). The light was golden. It was cool and crisp, but not frigid. Perfect, I tell you.

And, yes, I’m still having a love affair with lens flare. I think I’ll always have a love affair with lens flare. I can’t help it. It’s gorgeous.
